Acquisition Algorithm
Multiscale Analysis

The system management software, developed by the Eurocolumbus R&D department on a Linux platform, allows real-time processing of radiological images with a maximum resolution of 3k x 3k. All images are acquired, processed and stored in 16-bit, using the best technologies on the market.

To ensure full compliance with clinical requirements and avoid the creation of artifacts, no digital compression is applied to the images.

4.0

We manage customer support innovatively, respecting privacy and complying with GDPR directives, following a “business 4.0” approach.

A server, installed at the Eurocolumbus support center, will be able to connect via the web to radiological devices present in hospitals around the world. We will be able to constantly monitor the correct functioning of the equipment in real time and, if necessary, intervene remotely on the software to resolve or prevent problems.

Our engineers will be able to interact via multimedia devices with hospital or technical staff to provide support or instructions, for example in the event of hardware failures.

An Italian Story

Eurocolumbus was founded in 1972 and has experienced exponential growth since 2004, the year in which the flat panel detector was first introduced in Italy for C-arms.

In the following years, the final product was completely updated and renewed, remaining faithful to the original design, based on an isocentric, motorized and safe arch thanks to anti-collision sensors and a generator independent of the x-ray complex.

Eurocolumbus remains today the only Italian manufacturer of C-arms with a completely in-house Research and Development center. The equipment is entirely designed and manufactured in the Milan plant, Italy.
